mostly like frustrating that the bottom of the board is covered by non-removable ad if you lose so you can't see a few squares to know if you were right on them, and that you have to click all the number squares to "win" not just correctly flag all the bombs. however I do like that you don't get an ad if you correctly complete it, just a congratulations pop-up message that can be closed to see the whole board again

How to use Minesweeper for PC and MAC

You can run all Android games and applications on your PC or MAC computer. Using a free software called Bluestacks, you don't need to purchase anything but games or applications it self if it isn't free.

Download Bluestacks from this link.
Install BlueStacks from installation file with following the on-screen instructions.
Once Bluestacks is installed add your Google account in it.
Type Minesweeper in Search bar and install it.

Now you can use Minesweeper on your PC or MAC.

Very close to original... This is the best Minesweeper app I've tried so far. It takes a little getting used to the small flag/clear toggle, but otherwise it works much like the pc version. If possible, I would deduct about 1/2 star just because once it didn't let me flag and clear the last bomb. Overall, though, its very fun and works well.

Great throw back game. My only complaint is the transition from marking a bomb to opening squares. If you don't really pay attention you won't toggle correctly and then you blow yourself up. Otherwise it's a great game

It's good. Simple to use, well made for touch screen

Fairly close to the original... I do not know anyone else (personally) who knows how to play this game, which I always thought was weird as it isn't too difficult. I guess you need a little patience to play around with it or read the instructions. I always thought that everyone else saw it as the crappy game that came along with older versions of Windows, thus I'd never see it again! I have no idea how relevant any of this is to a review nor why I wrote it in the first place!

Classic. Missing this on Windows, glad it is here. Functions well. So far (3 games) ads are unobtrusive.

Better than the other one Not as pixilated and better sensitivity and controls than other version I play. Would like more zoom functionality otherwise nice app

Very good Only not like is can't tell when you are on flag or bomb option, not very clear.

Ideal for touch screen. I have tried may minesweeper apps and this is the best one so far for touch screen.

Lot of times I hit the last flag in the game and it won't do anything. End up forfeiting the game

Excellent Is not normal for me to put 5 star, but this is a known game and this version has everything I need or expected

Great game, unobtrusive ads. Simple and intuitive. No annoying ads during gameplay. Makes all the difference.

Best one out This is literally the best version you can get. It's just like the original. Idk what people mean about the ads. They aren't invasive. Maybe they just need to change their settings.

Fun and Nostalgic Reminds me of playing on my Gateway 2000! If you click on the number after putting down the applicable flags, it clears the surrounding numbers.

Brilliant game, very relaxing, I would only suggest that you add a tutorial and make it obvious that you can change the grid size

Update needed Doesn't randomize the mines at the beginning of the games so as soon as you start you can hit a mine.

Great throwback game. Only difference I would make is better system for differentiating between bomb flag and clear. But that could be just a matter of getting use to it.

Just like I Remember I used to play minesweep on my first desktop PC. Seems to work as good as I remember. I always try to best my time!
