The HowardForums App for PC and MAC

Great way to access HowardForums on your phone. Easy on the battery, easy to read, post, reply, add attachments. But it has a glitch at startup (I'm using the dark theme) where it flashes at the very start from a dark gray / blue app screen to a black and then to black again where it loads.

How to use The HowardForums App for PC and MAC

You can run all Android games and applications on your PC or MAC computer. Using a free software called Bluestacks, you don't need to purchase anything but games or applications it self if it isn't free.

  • Download Bluestacks from this link.
  • Install BlueStacks from installation file with following the on-screen instructions.
  • Once Bluestacks is installed add your Google account in it.
  • Type The HowardForums App in Search bar and install it.
Now you can use The HowardForums App on your PC or MAC.

Informative and easy to use! New update to app even better. I check posts regularly. Love it!!

Good app Good quick app using on oneplus one

Has been having random issues for months now Sometimes it says can't connect to server, other times it just loads indefinitely. And now every time I open a thread on mobile nothing displays except for "end". I've tried Uninstalling and reinstalling, as well as deleting cache and data, and wiping my cache partition.

Too many Permissions ! Sleazy app wants way too many Permissions! Why does this app want access to my Identity, my Wi-Fi info, my Location and access to my files on my SD card ?? Howard Forums (HoFo) is dead and useless anyway!

Great App. I'd give 5 stars when material design is implemented. Update: After all of this time, there it is! Thank you!

Doesn't work on Nexus 7 tablet. Have to force close. Get the logo screen but it goes no further. They do say "designed for phones" so maybe tablets are not supported. I tried it on my Moto G LTE and I got the same result. The opening screen comes up but it goes no further than that. You either have to force close or uninstall it. I only tried it on Wi-Fi, never on LTE.

I was told downloading the HF app would make getting my questions answered easier..but..Come on guys this is the HF app! It should be strait forward about what makes it go & whats required to participate.. All it appears to be is an archive of discussions or a window into HF with no latch or directions to the door! I give 3 stars because HF in general is a great timeline of the evolution of cellular tech & i just cant bring myself to give the HF app the one star i feel it deserves for being poorly defined with no instructions. If i was using this for a research paper on cellular progress i would give it 5 for being a historical archive.. How do you get in & why isnt that the first thing you read apon opening the app?

Dying forums Hf is a dying forum. It's full of fanboys and trolls and the mods have absolutely no clue what they are doing. It's no wonder nobody in the tech world actually uses these forums anymore. Unistalled. Much better options out there.

Garbage Lots of irrelevant information that you can't comment on unless you are a premium member. Go to android central or others. Far better anyways. Uninstalling.

Works as intended Occasionally the app runs slow, which can happen with many apps for Android here on the Play Store. Other than the occasional lag this HoFo app performs as intended.

Could use different mods It's gone to hell this year due to mods criticizing the knowledgeable posters over the troll posters

login I changed my phone and after i download and installed i do not have the option to login. On pc is ok. Now on lg g4 all got ok.

Great for phone geeks! I enjoy the ease of use with this app. I can check threads and forums quickly, and I don't have to bother logging in all the time.

Love it better than full Tapatalk. Every forum should have it's own dedicated app. Tapatalk just muddies the waters of what you want to read.

Good but not perfect Everything works well except for going to the first unread. That always seems to go a crap shoot.

It's awful ;-) LOL just kidding. Works great! Easier than web on phone. Dragonstar1967

Does everything I like... ...but has occasional freeze-ups that require deletion of app data.

very fast way of keeping up with wireless info. I love this app, must have if your a nerd over wireless providers.

Valuable app This app is so cool. It keeps me well informed on anything i need to know about any cell phone provider . Keep it up guys.

It is a better looking update! Of a new splash page. Still can't get anywhere past that

Ok app Updated topics doesn't go highlight anymore. I prefer the old version - rvnteck

Syncing does not work well. Excellent discussion group relating mobile services. But the logic to determine new posts for not work well

The Howard forum app has helped me so much its very hard to actually gt such quick instructions from an app , & instructions that u can understand thank you so much

It works well It works and it crashes a lot less than before

Really Thought this app was supposed to help me find the manafacturer date of my phone???? I didn't want to be in a discussion

Lots of force closes for me making it almost unusable

Nice app Nicely laid out app to keep updated on news from tech world

So cool Lots of good info for obile nuts like me

Better than online version Easier to navigate than the online version

Really good app. Works well; lots of helpful info.

Great App. Keeping up on Howard Forums has saved me big money on cell phones and cell service.

Good app Really like it. No problems and runs smooth.

Hofo is the best Best info on all things mobile

This needs an update for Marshmallow fast, & the need for so much permissions needs to be go!
