Verne: The Himalayas for PC and MAC

This app is amazing! I'm not even a child and I can tell you: this app is very, very fun. I just keep on exploring over and over! I think k that maybe in the next version, you could add a few more activities in the himilayas, as well as making more areas to explore, like Yellowstone or something of that nature. Maybe Verne could have a tiny buddy who can explore cities like Jerusalem or NYC. Just some ideas!

How to use Verne: The Himalayas for PC and MAC

Sudip Wonderful app. Fun and educational. BUT THE SOUND OF "MADAL A DRUM USED IN NEPAL" IS NOT TRUE THE SOUND TRACK IS OF "TABALA" A NEXT GENERE OF DRUM MORE POPULAR IN INDIA MORE THEN IN NEPAL. I GUESS U HAVE TO REVIEW AND GIVE A CORRECT INFO. THANKS AND GOOD LUCK.

Madal sound You've got Madal song all wrong. It doesn't sound anything like it. Madal is not used in bollywood movies as far as I know. They mostly used tabal. Thanks for the app. I'm starting to use it. If there's anything I'll let you know. Thanks and cheers!

I really like the idea of learning geography in a new and more emersive way. Hopefully we'll be able to explore more places with future updates. One note, the Island of Puerto Rico was sadly left unnamed. Please address this dev team. Ty!

Incredible! How far technology has come in such a short time. How real it seems to walk through the mountains. So many possible learnimg games come to mind. Im not a gamer and was hoping for a few himts. I didn't know what to do when I ended up on the bullseye trampoline. Only other issue is it seemed difficult to see which direction the arrow was pointing - a different arrow graphic might have helped.

Good app... But not the full Himalayan range... The app iz very informative and fun... But there iz only Mt. Everest and it's surroundings... But there iz more in the Himalayan range then just tht... Like Mt. Godwin(K2) in Kashmir, Nathula in Sikkim.. So plz give the full Himalayan range... Thank you

It's not just an app... it's a free world tour ticket... First thanks Google for making the app I always dreamed of.I explored all the Himalayas and then realised it is not just about Himalayas... it's a world tour package. The idea of messages popping out in different countries are great...I have plethora of ideas for this app to rule the world..... 1.include other mountain ranges n national parks, monuments, temples 2.change costumes accordingly.. (please contact me..I want to share all the ideas)

Great A great move by google as always, this app can really take us anywhere in the himalayas virtually and we can really see what is going on there, i request Google to make another app like this for more mountain ranges like the Andes, so we can visit those ranges by the google method ! Cheers! 😇 the last thing, the Yeti is quite interesting!

Well thought out Reminds me of the detail in monument valley. Interesting things all over. Hope they expand more packages in areas around the world. Really did a great job Google!

Perfect I am fascinated by the himalayas and have been looking for an app just like this. It's amazingly serendipitous that one has suddenly appeared. Google I think I love you 😊

Great app! Superb way to explore the Himalayas and really get a sense of where things are and how the camps are setup. Plus, you can actually leave the Himalayas and go for a walk around earth! 🌎

My 4 year old is forever boring me with information about the Himalayas. He's learning loads. Need more like this

App close automatic This games is worst. It close automatically when the door of Himalaya come

Has the potential Not only as a relaxing game but also as a geography education tool. Wish it adds in more world famous location and not only restrict in Himalayas

Definitely a "waste of time" but i also had fun. I felt enjoyed running around ibn a virtual world, climbing Mt.Everest and learned a few things along the way.

Good job This app/game brought a smile to my face. It's fine very well and has info as you go along. I think the controls and the camera angles could use some fine tuning though. But all in all, nice work and keep adding stuff around the globe. 👍

Great App With Even Greater Potential I downloaded this app after I read about it on the internet and it is just incredible. I've had so much fun and I've even learned a little about the Himalayas. However, the way in which you can leave the Himalayas and explore the entire world makes me excited for what's to come. I'm hoping that in the near future there will be more areas to explore and more information to learn. Thank you Google Creative Labs. This has been a real treat and a great way to spend free time having fun while learning a little.

Best game ever! So much for Pokemon Go. This truly is the best experience possible using Google Maps. And it's actually free free! I learned so much exploring that I look forward to further exploration titles. I mean come on I totally just used a sled to surf down mt everest!!!

Yeti??! Should be Androidify!!! I already suggested to the Androidify team that the permutations should be cloud saved so the users "designs" are never lost and it's attached to their Google account so they can have that consistency amongst platforms and devices. Simply collaborate with that team to keep these games growing! Great job!

Wow! You can fly around in a hang glider and a jetpack and you can go outside the Himalayas and explore the rest of the world with a balloon. Just amazing

Great Game. Must Play Despite being on a 3GB RAM Octa core phone, the game hangs and runs. Google improve the UI or get fixes. Apart from this a Brilliant game. must download

Really nice, interesting app Though the navigation is not that mature like in other phone games (I miss specifically the separate camera rotate and avatar movement soft pads :-) ), the app is still insanely fun and really interesting, provides a way to see sceneries which most of us probably never will in real life. Really appreciated the effort. :-)

Needs a mode for VR headset. The best app I've used yet. Concept and execution is flawless. Please add a mode for VR headsets so we can explore the Himalayas with our cardboard viewers! Keep up the good work!

Amazing! This app is so much fun, you should maybe expand it so Verne can explore other places, or possibly make other games with new characters, but the objective (if there is one) and features stay the same. Thanks, Google!

Amazing I love this game it's a good idea for everyone <3 good job Google u found u away to have fun on a map thx buddy for this game 🙂🤗

Awesome experience Its a very good idea , most of us in our lifetime cannot see the Himalayas. This is fun and awesome experience.

Amazing Hats off! to Google, making all the more exciting apps than any other company, amazing app left me speechless.

Best app ever This is the coolest idea but would love to see more challenges like maybe of climbing Everest? Super fun though

Jordan Flag is incorrect Seriously Google, a newbie mistake. App is good otherwise.

Did i tell you that this app offers a lot more than meandering around the himalayan peaks.Yeah, you can roam around the world with yeti on a balloon.I eagerly await for more offerings and easter eggs from this app

How great! Google Creative Lab really pulled off a gem with this amazing game. Some great development efforts went into pulling this off.

So much potential and enormous educational value This is an interactive and fun way to explore the world. However for now, we can only get a close up tour of the Himalayas. I wish I could travel to any country and just download a map to start exploring.

Flipped Landscape mode I need to hold the phone upside-down in order to play. Exploring in app is amazing! ! Thank you! !

This is the best game ever! Never before have I been so interested in the Himalayas.

Amazing : Top of the world This app is amazing. You can not stop exploring once you start it.

Wonderfully done. Let's you dive deep into the Himalayas. Pops up with fun facts and make you live and discover the amazing skills.

Doesn't Work First, the image won't line up...at all. Secondly, you can't use the controls...at all. Don't waste your time.

Amazing, superb! This app is really creative, innovative and a visual treat. Loved it! Would like similar imagery based app for other famous locations too like sahara desert, amazon rainforests, etc, really wonderful app

great way to use google maps as a learning tool its just fun, but to make it even more awesome please consider making objectives

Verne: The Himalayas is a new app that invites you to explore Google Maps’ 3D imagery of the Himalayas alongside a 500 foot Yeti named Verne. As Verne, you can run up Mt. Everest in seconds, skate across icy lakes, chase yaks, discover bits of information, ride a jetpack, play Himalayan instruments, and more.
