Such a hassle Amazing game BUT what could have been a five-minute play and go game is hindered by the atrocious addition of Swarm, and which takes forever to load. No idea if logging in solves this issue as I have no intention of using the service at any point in time.

I love this game. Very addicting!! Someone said it runs out of swaps too quickly. That's the point... you have to use your swaps wisely to get more.

Compulsive & enjoyable Don‘t like the suggestion system. They reject all suggestions for words and its very clumsy - for example if you search for a word & its not there, you're asked if you want to submit it, which normally isn't the case. So why the extra button presses?

Addictive WELDER is perfect for a short wait in line or during a meeting. I find myself playing this game more than other, more popular, apps and I recommend it to anyone

Some good English words not known Often find genuine words nor known. Also runs out of swaps too quickly at higher levels !

Very annoyed I paid for this game and it does not work. When it loads there are no letters displayed, although all other parts of the game are present, you cannot see any letters, even though if you run your finger over the screen you can hear the letters selecting, you just can't see them. Very disappointed. Would like this fixed or a refund please.

Love Love it but only problem is that when I dont play for a couple days it takes me back a couple levels. I was on level 12. Didnt play for two days and went to play and it put me on level 9.

A first-rate word game Solid, thoughtful, and quite difficult as the game progresses. Many interesting effects and power-ups. Not aggressive about shaking more money out of you, but if you want to shell out for more options you can. Fun.

Fun and entertaining game!! I would give it five stars if it did not automatically submit a word as soon a it recognizes one. This is frustrating as it foils many attempts to create longer, higher scoring words. The tutorial does not adequately describe game rules or how to use the variety of swaps available. All in all, a great game. Allow the user to manually submit words and I will change my rating to FIVE STARS!!

Keeps you interested no matter what difficulty you want. This game shifts letters like games I played as a kid. I always start easy and can stay easy if I want or I can work up to more difficult. I can always stop and I don't have to wait to build lives or other such nonsense that is built into some games. It's not timed so I am not pressured to make moves. Very good way to pass time and stimulate my brain!

The game is interesting and challenging and you can get better over time. It doesn't lose interest. But it is a bit clunky on my samsung tablet. For instance, the word look-up feature doesn't work.

Previously didn't work on Android L2 G2 phone, now it works just fine! Welder my favorite game of all time. I've played it for years on my ipod so I was crazy excited when I could download it on my LG 2G phone. It used to freeze up on Level 2, but now it works just fine! There's been some modifications to the game which make it a little more challenging than the prior versions I've used, but such is life. Welder is still my favorite word game! Thanks for fixing the Android version so that long waits before appointments have become appreciated and eucational down time!!!

Sucks No matter where I am in this game, when I try to return to it, it sends me back to level one. Loved this game before. Now terrible. Would give zero stars if possible. I emailed customer service 3 days ago and no reply. Don't buy. Not worth even being free. Want refund

Battery hungry + in app purchases in a paid app? Expect about 2.5 hours of gameplay from 100% to 0% with a 2500mAh battery. I'd say this is insane. But it's a pretty good game if you are connected to power, or you carry a few replacement batteries. My suspicion is that they are not doing something right, why spinning the cpu at 100% in a word game??? Please hire a real software developer team! I feel cheated because of the in-app-purchase. I paid for this app once, shouldn't that be enough? Enjoy your first game, because you will have to pay for the same experience from then on!

Cool Concept game Hours of brain draining fun for those who are into torturing themselves to excel.

Pretty decent. This game is well designed and more importantly fun to play. It is hard to find word games that don't end up being boring. This one hits the spot.

I loved, loved, loved this app when I had an iPhone. But the fact it doesn't have all the same modes makes me crazy! The ios version had a mode with a much larger board--more fun for when you've mastered the small - board version. Please bring that to the android version, and it'll be a five star!

Could be better Play this on iphone much better you can earn gigawats by playing with others. Love bigger screen here though. Please match ut with iphone app because it us an awesome game

Fun at first, but too easy and shallow Reasonably diverting for a while, but once it's introduced all the gameplay elements it gets a little repetitive and doesn't offer much outside the main "campaign" mode which, once you've got the knack, is very easy to finish. Would perhaps have been nice to have an extra hard mode unlocked when you've completed it or something, but it's a bit of an anti climax. The dictionary is also very patchy and incomplete which spoils the experience a bit. An interesting concept that ends up being shallow in the end.

Perfect Game I saw a review where a guy said he thought it was too challenging to be fun. No offense, but you must have a really low IQ then. This game is fantastic. It really challenges your brain and makes you think. I had an iPod touch and I had this game, and when I got my galaxy s3 I was heartbroken because they didn't have it. Well now they do, and it made me the happiest guy in und world. Its a great game. Hours upon hours of fun. Definitely with the three bucks:) buy it! You won't regret it :)

Challenging & interesting Lots of fun. The hot and broken tiles add variety. The only problem I experienced was the game freezing. The only way to correct it was to uninstall and reinstall. Over all a fun game.

Unsupported. Developer is gone. I really like this game, but the developer either died or abandoned it two years ago. The shop site is gone, crashes go unfixed, and tech support questions are unanswered.

Fantastic Game I have tried a number of Word games and this is the best by a long way. Once you get used to the moves it's very addictive. Well worth the money. GREAT!!!

Welder Great game, only thing missing is a 2 player option like on the ios version.

Pretty good Quite good and addictive but the coercion to buy points to play a game you've already paid for is very wrong. In game the tiles could do with falling faster and when choosing letters for the blank tiles it would be much much better if you could use the standard keyboard as this would allow you to see the gameboard while selecting, meaning less mistakes and a better playing experience. Overall very good but please save the money-milking exercises for free and/or "lite" games.

Good game, but a tech train-wreck. Fun game, BUT, no progression beyond level 15, gets boring after that, and a technical basket-case. Too many bugs, anomalies etc. requiring constant re-starting, re-installation, and so on, and these never seem to get fixed. Fed-up and will un-install permanently. Update: installed on new phone. Still rubbish. Constantly freezes, and resets itself, and my 20000+ Gigawatts did not follow me to my new phone. Though the game is enjoyable, the app itself is garbage. Piece of crap; don't waste your money.

Interesting game idea. This app really has a great twist to word logic games. I think the graphics are a bit too much and I would prefer something more simple and clean looking. I also don't think that the game is worth 3$. But it's worth buying for the unique game play. Can you please make a different skin / theme that I can use in the game? I'd even pay. Also is there an option to play just words without all the corrupted words and unlimited swaps? That would be nice.

Great but the BAD dictionary is frustrating I would give this 5 stars because I really, really enjoy playing it, but the game has quite a few problems. In order to avoid wasting moves you have to waste a lot of time looking up very common Scrabble words to be on the safe side. There are hundreds of obscure words in the WELDER dictionary, but those which have been included seems to be totally arbitrary. Also really, really annoying is that you regularly waste swops creating a plural (to get more points for a longer word) only to find a perfectly common plural is not counted - so, what constitutes an acceptable plural appears to be random and illogical! For this game to be perfect in terms of serious wordplay it needs to use a standard word player's dictionary such as OSW. There are also bugs in the Android version which cause Undos to Undo incorrectly and so forth. These annoyances aside, WELDER is by far my favourite game and well worth the $$, warts and all. To the poster whining about no vowels - that's why you create a bank of gigawatts and PLAN your game. I have gone 15 levels every game since I figured out a good strategy. If the game didn't require a great deal of thought why would you bother playing it?

A Unique Word Game This game is a lovely and unique twist on the traditional word game. I happened to stumble upon this totally by accident. My husband is a welder by trade and I was looking for helpful apps he could use at work. LOL! It must have been divine intervention because I had been looking for a new word game! I lose interest quick if the only thing to reward me is my score. I need something with a better reward system. With goals to work towards, this game pleases me! Very happy that I discovered it!! ♡♡♡♡♡

Great game! I was hesitant to buy this without trying it first, but it is definitely worth every cent! I was looking for a decent word game and this one definitely tops the list for Android! I play it on my Acer tablet and it looks great. The only thing I don't like about it is that it doesn't save your progress once you exit the game. That's easy to overlook because then I get more practice to form bigger words. All in all, a great game! Kudos to the developer!

Issue with score resetting Score will reset to zero when I get to the higher levels so the accumulated points are lost. Great game, play it quite a lot but the score reset is irritating. Was thru level 13 with over 100,000 points when it reset.

Thoroughly enjoyable... This is the best word game I have played to date. I thoroughly enjoy not having a time limit more than anything. Please add additional words / create a larger dictionary; as many rather common words are not recognized. Otherwise, an awesome effort so far!

Absorbing! Very absorbing game, lose track of time. No issues experienced as yet on HTC One X.

Disappointing After swapping from an iPhone to android I was hoping for the same features I enjoyed from the version that apple has, unfortunately there is no free apocalypse swap, no dictionary, no undo even when words are formed and no ability to buy more swaps when running low, to name only a few!. Devs please update the android version so it has the same features as app store version, at the moment its basic play feels just like any other word game but with a price tag.

Addictive Love this game. My friends and family are addicted. There is a learning curve to it, but once you get it you can't put it down.

W.E.L.D.E.R. This is a fantastic word game which soon becomes quite time consuming and addictive. It seems somewhat stingey with "swaps" and too difficult too earn "gigawatts". Otherwise a 5 star game.

Its a great game but I am fed up of having to reinstall it and losing all I have done..have reinstalled this game 3 times today already ..not reinstalling it anymore going to find another game..fed up now
